아이돌 그룹 SS501의 멤버 박정민의 ‘발가락 양말’ 애호가임을 밝혔다.
지난 11일 방송된 MBC ‘세상을 바꾸는 퀴즈(이하 세바퀴)’에서는 겨울에 관련된 노래에 대한 이야기보따리가 풀어졌다. 이에 박정민은 “SS501도 겨울노래가 있다”라며 곡 ‘스노우 프린스’에 맞춰 멋진 안무를 선보여 박수갈채를 받았다.
이날 박정민은 근황에 대해 “솔로 앨범 준비 중이다. 다섯 명이 활동했을 때는 몰랐는데 나에게 살이 좀 있더라. 안되겠다 싶어서 12kg 정도를 감량했다”라고 전해 놀라움을 자아냈다.
또 박정민은 한국인 최초로 일본 최고 인기 토크쇼에 출연했다고. 박정민은 “아카시야 산마는 우리나라로 보면 이경규 같은 분이다. 그 분이 진행하는 토크쇼에 나갔었다. 다음 날에 인기 검색어에도 올랐다”라고 밝혔다. 이에 함께 일본 활동을 했었던 조혜련은 “박정민은 일본 사람들이 정말 좋아하는 외모다. 다들 너무 잘생겼다고 한다”라며 일본 내 박정민의 인기를 증언하기도 했다.
이렇듯 인기 아이돌이지만 박정민에게도 의외의 면이 발견돼 눈길을 끌었다. 박정민은 아이돌답지 않게 발가락 양말 애호가라고. 박정민은 “무좀은 아니고 발에 습기가 많아서 신고 다닌다”라고 솔직하게 털어놨다.

On 11th of this month (December), MBC has aired an episode of “Quiz that Changes the World” and there is a topic on “The song that is suitable to listen to during winter”. Park Jung Min has mentioned that SS501 has songs that are suitable for winter and he even performed a part of “Snow Prince”, which gained everyone’s applause.
During the show, Park Jung Min has said that he is currently preparing for his solo activities. Previously when doing group activities, he was slightly fatter than the other members. Hence, now he has already lost 12kgs. This has caused much laughter in the studio.
Also, Park Jung Min is the first Korean celebrity to appear in a famous Japanese talk show (hosted by Sanma Akashiya). Park Jung Min has said, “Sanma Akashiya’s (celebrity) status in Japan is equivalence as of Lee Kyung Kyu in Korea. On the second day after I have appeared in his talk show, my popularity search has gone up.”
