"Playful Kiss" reviews and my irritation.

I just watched the first half of the first episode of "Playful Kiss" and I am so irritated, I had to wait for it to be subbed and today it was finally ready. The reason I am irritated, is that while waiting I was hearing all this negative stuff about it being boring, and KHJ's acting was bad and he didn't have enough lines, and there was too much fantasy sequences and also there is the low TV ratings!

Well, after watching half the first episode, I just had to come here and start a discussion. IT IS NOT BORING AT ALL! I am a person who is easily bored and I was totally fascinated from the first scene! KHJ is doing a fine job of being an arrogant genius and he is acting with his facial and eye expressions and he is doing GREAT! Isn't this supposed to be based on a manga, well this is more manga like than BOF, so I don't know what everyone is complaining about.

Plus as usual, KHJ is absolutely gorgeous. The show is cute and adorable and INTERESTING!

No replies yet, ok, then I will reply to myself. I just finished the first two episodes and it was great, I really enjoyed it and am now anxiously waiting for next weeks episodes. I was surprised myself how much I enjoyed the show. I thought it was my SS501 bias that made me enjoy it, but that can't be true because at the time of BOF, I didn't even know who SS501 was. I was watching BOF because I was following Goo Hye Sun, and I discovered Leader and SS501 through that. I was crazy over BOF and I feel the same way about "Playful Kiss. I like both Leader's character and the girl playing Oh Ha Ni, she is great!
I recommend "Playful Kiss" and also "Sungkyunkwan Scandal", give Leader and Mickey Yoochun, some love!

hey i also enjoy the PK!
in my opinion, leader's acting is enough to portray the role. but really leader doesn't have much air time. in epi 1, only 20min.
most of the viewers are leader's fans and they are waiting for the drama because of KHJ! but the production crew really focus only on the female lead. since, leader is also the male lead, we hope more air time!
the female lead is cute and can attract all the attention to her(i admit her acting is good!) but i can't stand people say that she could act and leader couldn't act. have you heard that she will be on high cut magazine, and her pictures. it says neitizens said that she is so pretty that she doesn't need much makeup. she is now on the list of this year best female rookie actress!
i wish there will be something good for leader too.
rating is so low, leader's expectation is ,you know, 14% for epi 1, 17% for epi 2! but now....
although rating is not everything, i don't want leader to depress or be sad!
anyway, we are always with SS501 and leader forever, aren't we?

ok first of all I want to thank you for this topic.
Then I want to say some thing. I hope people stop comparing between Leader in this role and his role in BOF.
There are not the same things.
why they are making such idea
More over about not having enough lines.
this is the character of the person.
he doesn't talk so much. but he act well.
I know they are just the 2 firsts episodes and Leader doesn't appear so much but if you have watched the Taiwanese version you may know he will have more lines.
maybe because the spectators are not all TS and don't have a great idea about Leader's act but the rating will increase by the time.
and I suppose that the low rating is due to the language because many people don't understand Korean so they will wait for the translation to come out to watch it and that's what explain the hight rate for DLDing the 2 episode.to sum up, I hope people just wait and see the upcoming episode and as TS i'll continue to support "naughty Kiss"
