Music site Monkey3 set up a six-day poll during which netizens could decide on who they would want as an Avatar on an Avatar date. Avatar date is a popular activity done on MBC ‘Hot Brothers’ during which a host (in this case, it would be the netizen) controls a person, or “Avatar,” through wireless communication devices.
SS501’s Kim Hyunjoong came in first place for this survey, sweeping by with 47% of the votes. Netizens commented on this victory, saying, “I want to go on a date with him, not control him,” “I don’t think he will follow my commands,” and “I really want him to come out on the show.”
Other distinguishable runner-ups include Big Bang’s Seungri, who came in second place with 16% of the votes. Seungri was followed by actor So Jiseop, Lee Minho, Se7en, and DJ DOC’s Lee Haneul.
This poll ran from August 12th to August 18th.
